A full day in the mountains. There are lots of activities to do like rock climbing, hiking etc. Or you can simply relax and make use the of the hotel facilities.

Day 3
You will meet your guide again today who will take you on the next part of your journey, to the desert. Now to save time you will staying at the Dunes which is a much smaller desert located nearer to Oman but still has all the fabulous activities that you can do at the Desert like dune bashing or camel rides
Arrive at your hotel and make use of the facilities. Again, another great spot for star gazing.

Day 4
This morning your guide will pick you up again and make your way to Muscat, where you have your half day city tour. This tour includes a trip to the Grande Mosque and the souk, where you can pick up some local gifts to take home. Then head to the beach for 4 nights of relaxtaion - the perfect ending to this Oman tour.

The holy month of Ramadan will be celebrated in Oman every year according to the lunar cycle (approximately 22 March-20 April 2023, 10 March-9 April 2024 and 28 February–30 March 2025). During Ramadan, Muslims all over the world abstain from food, drink and other physical needs during daylight hours. As a result, there are many restrictions in place during this time. Hotel restaurants and local city restaurants are closed until Iftar (the fast-breaking evening meal after sunset), though some hotels let one restaurant open for buffet breakfast and lunch. Alcohol is restricted in public, but can be delivered to the room. Non-Muslims are not expected to fast but be aware that in Oman you cannot eat, drink, smoke, or chew gum in public.
Eid Al Fitr, otherwise known as the Festival of Sweets, is an annual Muslim holiday that celebrates the ‘breaking of the fast’ (approximately 21 April-22 April 2023, 9 April-10 April 2024 and 31 March-1 April 2025). Eid Al Adha is the second major holiday celebrated annually in the UAE (approximately 28 June-2 July 2023, 16 June-20 June 2024 and 6 June-10 June 2025). During these festivities, the UAE can be very busy, however, there are no restrictions during these times.
