Included from half-board, the Dine Around experience lets you enjoy the hotel’s different restaurants for dinner, at no extra cost. Instead of a single option each evening, guests can choose between buffet at the main restaurant, a la carte dinner at Fukwe (reservation needed), or a quiet night in with room service. You can alo enjoy refreshing drinks by the pool or on the beach while taking in views across the Indian Ocean .

Days can be spent unwinding beside the swimming pool, enjoying a treatment at the spa or exploring the colourful coral reefs of nearby Mnemba Atoll, one of Zanzibar's most renowned snorkelling and diving locations. Situated on the east cost of the island in the traditional fishing village of Matemwe, the resort overlooks the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean with beautiful views towards the renowned Mnemba Atoll, while Stone Town and the island's spice plantations are within easy reach.

  • Deluxe Villa - 78sqm villas with a view of the tropical canopy, a private pool, double walk-in shower. and 5 minutes' walk from the beach. Sleeps two adults.
  • Deluxe Villa Partial Seaview -  78sqm villas with a view of the tropical canopy and a partial view of the sea, a private pool, double walk-in shower. and 5 minutes' walk from the beach. Sleeps two adults.
  • Seafront Villa - 101sqm villas situated on the ground floor facing the turquoise lagoon, outdoor shower and 1 minute walk from the beach. Sleeps two adults.
  • Beachfront Retreat Villa - 101sqm villas loacted on the first floor with a private pool, located a few steps from the beach facing the lagoon and a reserved beach spot with a straw hut and two deckchairs. Sleeps two adults.

 

  • Chakula Chakula - The main buffet restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering a variety of international flavours alongside authentic local specialities. Open for breakfast from 7am-10:30am, lunch from 12:30pm-3pm and dinner from 7pm-10pm
  • Fukwe - Located directly on the beach, a relaxed bar and restaurant serving a selection of favourites including pizzas, mishikaki (a popular Tanzanian street food), and other delicious dishes in a laid-back seaside setting. Open for lunch from 12:30pm-3pm and dinner from 7pm-10pm. Beverage service from 10am-6pm
  • Upepo - Situated between the pool and the ocean, a relaxed venue to enjoy cocktails, afternoon tea and gourmet snacks throughout the day. Unwind with light lunches, refreshing drinks and casual bites while taking in the beautiful seaside surroundings. Open for late breakfast from 10:30am-11am, light lunch from 12:30pm-3pm, afternoon tea from 3pm-6pm. Beverage service from 10am-midnight.
  • Karibu Lounge - A calm and welcoming space where guests can enjoy a complimentary welcome drink on arrival, along with regular local tea and coffee tastings. Open from 10am-11pm
  • Local Shop - The on-site boutique offers a selection of essentials, bulk shop for mini bar items and souvenirs. Open from 8:30am-11pm.
