Nestled on the Boardwalk by Hastings Beach, the retreat is close by to the island’s more vibrant areas, brimming with decadent seafood restaurants and quirky bars, yet still secluded enough to offer a tranquil stay with no interruptions. We love that this hotel offers the best of both worlds – it’s the perfect base to enjoy both the livelier and the quieter side of island life.

The all-inclusive, waterfront restaurant will certainly tantalise your taste buds, serving up a flavoursome taste of the Caribbean alongside beautiful ocean views, and we can think of no better way to start the day than enjoying your morning coffee out on your private balcony. We’d recommend upgrading to a Deluxe Room too – they offer the utmost privacy and space for a luxury holiday.

Barbados Room Rate Levy
Please note that a mandatory government ‘Room Rate Levy’ must be applied nightly to all hotel guests staying on the island. The tax will either be applied to your hotel room account at check-in or may be included in your overall holiday cost, depending on the hotel (this will be confirmed to you when you book your holiday with us). The amount varies from BBD$8.75 (approx. US$4.50) to BBD$35.00 (approx.  US$17.50) per bedroom per night according to the classification of the property in question. Please note that this levy is not optional and is subject to change.

Located in the heart of the south coast, this gorgeous property is set on the Boardwalk by the picturesque Hastings Beach, exuding a relaxed and serene atmosphere.

St Lawrence Gap is only a short distance away, full of restaurants, shops and bars – an ideal spot to mingle with other tourists and locals. Take a step back in time and visit one of the local historic sites such as George Washington House, providing tours full of unexpected treasures and tunnels. Take a stroll up the picturesque South Coast Boardwalk, lined with palm trees and glistening sea; and keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife including red land crabs and turtles.

• The hotel is a 20 minute drive from Grantley Adams International Airport.

There are a total of 17 SoCo Rooms and 7 Deluxe Rooms, all featuring:

SoCo Rooms, available on all floors and offering 360 sqft of room space. There is also a single sofa bed. Sleeps max. 3 adults (though we would highly recommend upgrading to the larger Deluxe Room).

Deluxe Rooms These lovely rooms feature the same facilities but are larger and offer more privacy. These also feature a two seater sofa that converts into a king-size sleeper bed, and 420 sqft of space. Sleeps max. 3 adults.

Please note there are 2 rooms located on the ground floor with direct access to the pool - one Soco room and one Deluxe room. Whilst these face the sea the view will be obscured by deckchairs/parasols.  if you would like a room with a full sea view please request this as the time of booking. 

The SoCo Hotel does not have a lift and rooms are on 4 floors as shown in the images..
 

The Restaurant provides a la carte breakfast, lunch & dinner, with gorgeous views of the sparkling ocean. In the evenings, kick back and relax on the pool deck with a refreshing sundowner or two.

Fine wine is available from the wine cellar, at a supplement payable locally.
Room service meals are available, at a supplement payable locally.

Dress Code
For dining in the restaurant by day, bathing suits must be covered and men should wear a shirt or T-shirt, along with footwear for all.

In the evening, the hotel operates a smart/casual, but not formal, dress code. Beach shoes are not permitted for ladies. Gentlemen must wear collared shirts and either long trousers or long tailored shorts with evening shoes or smart sandals.

  • Try one of Barbados’ many fabulous restaurants and bars dotted along the coast with several easily accessed via the board walk in front of the hotel.
