Overview

The Grotto Bay Beach Resort is a fantastic family resort set on a lush tropical estate featuring two dramatic caves and 21 acres of woodland that slopes gently down to the pink sand beach at the water's edge of Bailey’s Bay. The eleven brightly coloured cottages in traditional Bermudian architecture allow all rooms the benefit of fabulous views overlooking the turquoise waters, dotted with small islands.

Both main restaurants, Hibiscus and Palm Court are located at the Great House as well as the Rum House Bar, which is the place to mix and mingle at the end of the day. The Panorama Lounge and bar, located on the rooftop, offers a selection of cocktails and endless views across the island. For an al fresco lunch setting, head to the Bayside Restaurant and Pool Bar. Location

You'll find this typically Bermudian resirt set in a luscious tropical estate, offering a plethora of naturally beautiful attractions, including woodland preserves and two intruiging ocean-fed caves.

The resort is approximately a 5-10 minute drive from Bermuda International Airport
St Georges is a 12 minute drive away
Hamilton is a 20 minute drive away

Public buses stop at the front gate of the resort every 15 minutes during the day and every half hour in the evenings and on Sundays.
A variety of other transportation methods are available to visitors; a moped and bicycle cycle rental shop is located on property and in addition, vistors can hire 2-seater electric cars with which to head off and explore the island independently.

Ocean View Deluxe Room - Boasting spectacular panoramic views of the ocean from a serene hillside location, these gorgeous 33sqm rooms are elevated on the second and third floors, featuring breath-taking views across the glistening bay from a private balcony.

Oceanfront Superior Room - These sumptuous 33sqm rooms are located closest to the pool and waterfront, featuring walk-out access from a ground floor location. A private, furnished patio also offers partial views of the Bay’s calm, clear waters.

Oceanfront Deluxe Room - Located along the waterfront near to the pool, these luxurious rooms showcase unforgettable ocean views from a heightened setting overlooking the bay.

Palm Court Dining Room - Serving casual dinners and light fare, this gorgeous restaurant is adorned by majestic palms and stunning tropical scenery with a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy a menu inspired by island flavours and techniques, alongside a tempting list of exotic beverages and refreshments. Serving morning coffee, complimentary afternoon tea, and dinner. Dress code - casual

Rumhouse Bar - The resort’s main bar is located in the Great House, offering an extensive beverage list with live entertainment all throughout the week.

Rooftop Panorama Lounge and Bar - offering expansive ocean-range views, serving a light bites Tapas inspired bar menu along with a custom cocktail list. Open April to
November, 5pm – 11pm weather permitting.

Bayside Grill and Bar - Situated by the pool, with a swim up bar, and just a few steps from the water’s edge, Bayside serves delicious lunches and tropical drinks beside fabulous vistas and cool ocean breezes. This venue also hosts two exceptional themed dinner evenings per week, including a Monday Island BBQ and a Thursday Surf & Turf Grill; both of these are extremely popular so reservations are required. Open for lunch - Apr-Nov only, weather permitting.

The Hibiscus Dining Room as well as the Palm Court Dining Room, the Rumhouse Bar and the roof-top Panorama Lounge and Bar are all located in the Great House.
