Set five miles south of Tortola, Peter Island is situated in the British Virgin Islands. This intimate and secluded island is unspoiled yet luxurious, with tropical surrounding views, lush hillsides and gorgeous beaches. Just 20 minutes from some of the best diving spots in the BVIs, the resort is peaceful and secluded yet still close to the neighbouring attractions.

Guests can arrive at Peter Island by flying to Tortola via Antigua then taking a scenic 15-minute boat ride to the island. There is a shuttle service available to make getting around the island more convenient.

  • Ocean View Rooms – Feature panoramic views of the surrounding scenery and ocean, with a private balcony with seating area
  • Ocean View Deluxe Rooms – Located on the lower level of the Ocean View Cottages, these rooms have a standalone bathtub and walk-in shower in the bathroom, private patio and seating area
  • Beachfront Junior Suites – Set at the end of Deadman’s Beach, these suites are close to the main pool and Peter Island Marina, with tropical garden surrounds, direct beach access and a private patio or balcony. They feature a two-person Jacuzzi, double shower and a spacious sitting area.
  • Villas – An opulent take on that home-from-home feel, these villas provide a secluded retreat with amenities and features tailored to your tastes, from your preferred pillows on the beds to customised music on the iPod and your favourite foods in the fridge, all with spectacular views.

  • Tradewinds Restaurant – A fusion restaurant serving a mix of authentic Caribbean and Asian dishes, paired with delicious wines and followed by homemade desserts. The restaurant features a live carving station and an omelette station at breakfast.
  • Deadman’s Beach Bar & Grill – Casual restaurant and bar serving classic Caribbean dishes, wood-fired pizzas and flavoursome buffets, with live steel pan music on select nights.

While families and children are welcome at Peter Island, there are no dedicated facilities; we feel the secluded nature and peaceful ambience make it an ideal choice for couples seeking a romantic escape or a honeymoon destination.
