Sugar Beach, Viceroy Resort

7 nights from £2,299 per person Including Flights

The first thing you’ll notice when you arrive at this enticing resort, is the view. With soft, sugary sands sweeping underneath the emerald green Petite Piton, we reckon this haven has one of the most amazing views of this naturally beautiful phenomenon. It’s truly one of the most mesmerising sights in St Lucia.

The resort itself is just as picturesque. Characterful Saint Lucian styling is infused with ultra-luxurious facilities and sleek, minimalist décor, whilst the charming thatched roof treatment rooms of Rainforest Spa hide amongst the emerald green flora.

Much of the retreat is nestled high up in the hill, meaning you’ll need to use the complimentary shuttle service to get around. We love just how easy this is, with every guest being given their own resort mobile phone to call up their butler for personalised service whenever they need. What an amazing way to feel like royalty.

In our eyes, this sophisticated, tranquil resort is best for a truly romantic getaway for two. Nevertheless, despite the highly elegant feel there’s plenty here for families looking for a little slice of paradise. The kids club is brilliant, offering a fun games room and a mini-theatre for young ones to perform.

After a day spent lapping up the sun on the dazzling white beach and indulging in a spa treatment or two, you’ll find that the restaurants here are just as luxurious. Ranging from decadent fine dining at The Great Room, to more casual fare at The Terrace, there’s something for everyone at this enticing oasis.

Development Project
Work is currently taking place on the development of a 9-bedroomed Beachfront Residence, located at the southernmost part of the resort above Glenconner Beach.  The project will end early 2024.  Disruption from this project is expected to be minimal owing the size of the resort and location of this project.  Any hotel accommodations close to the work, or that will potentially be impacted, have been removed from the hotel inventory.  In addition, Glenconner Beach and the Pier Bar will be closed.  All other facilities including the main beach (Sugar Beach) will be operational and work will be well away from the main beach, pool, restaurants and other public facilities.   Work will take place from 8am-5pm Monday-Saturday.  Guests may be aware of some construction traffic passing through the resort but this should be minimal, and most heavy vehicles will use the southern entrance to the property via Morne La Croix.
