With three nights in Mahe, two in Bird Island and five in Praslin, you’ll have ample opportunity to discover each island’s unique personality. Mahe’s friendly towns and local eateries are perfect for exploring, whilst the private Bird Island adds a castaway feel. Meanwhile, Praslin offers exotic surroundings, including rare Coco de Mer palm trees.
Flight to Mahe
Take an evening departure to Mahe in order to get to the island on the morning of Day Two.
Upon arrival in Mahé, you will be transferred to the DoubleTree by Hilton Seychelles Allamanda Resort & Spa for three nights of relaxation and unwinding. Nestled on the Southern coast of Mahe, you can do as little or as much as you like at this gorgeous resort.
Mahe has plenty to see and do, too. Journey to Beau Vallon for a day of market and beach exploring, finishing your afternoon with authentic Creole food at La Plage Restaurant and a walk to see the tiny statue of Big Ben in the capital, Victoria.
You’ll be staying here on a bed & breakfast basis, and there are plenty of lovely local spots to enjoy a delicious al fresco lunch.
Aptly named thanks to its abundance of tropical birdlife, Bird Island is your port of call for the next two nights. After a short inter-island flight from Mahe, once you’ve arrived in Bird Island you will be transferred to the only hotel on the island – Bird Island Lodge. This gorgeous lodge evokes a lovely castaway feel, making you feel like the only people in the world on your own private slice of paradise.
There’s no TV’s or phones here, so you can completely shut off from your day-to-day stresses and simply enjoy the peace and quiet of lazing around on a private island. There’s great snorkelling and kayaking opportunities here, or of course you could bird watch and look out for the stunning fairy tern.
You’ll be staying on a Full Board basis here.
On the morning of Day Seven you will fly back to Mahe, before catching another flight to Praslin. The beautiful Hotel L’Archipel will be your home for the next five nights, offering romance, seclusion and beachside relaxation.
The hotel looks out onto the Indian Ocean, offering stunning views no matter where you decide to unwind – whether that be by the swimming pool, on the powdery sand beach, or in the scenic La Gigolette restaurant.
Praslin has plenty of great excursions for you to enjoy should you fancy venturing from the hotel. The Vallee de Mai is perfect for nature-lovers, it’s a beautiful nature reserve filled with rare Coco de Mer palms, and home to the erotically shaped Coco de Mer nut.
You’ll be staying at Hotel L’Archipel on a bed & breakfast basis.
In the late afternoon, you will take an inter-island flight from Praslin to Mahe, where you will board your onward flight.
