Upon arrival in Santiago, take a private included transfer from the airport to your hotel. You’ll have a welcome meeting at 6pm, so ensure you have your insurance details and next of kin information to hand. If you arrive early, perhaps head out on a short city walk to get your bearings.

Day 2
Santiago
After breakfast this morning, you will head out on a walking tour with a local guide. Throughout, you’ll learn about the city’s fascinating history as you explore Plaza de Armas, home to the cathedral, La Moneda Palace and the gorgeous grounds of Parque Bicentenario. You'll then stop by a local eatery and tuck in to delicious cheese, ham and wine. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 3
Valparaiso
The morning is free for you to explore as you wish. You'll then start the journey to Valparaiso, including a fun stop at Casablanca Valley for lovely wine tasting. Upon arrival at Valparaiso, you'll have the evening free to enjoy.

Day 4
Valparaiso
This creative city is your base for the day. You'll learn all about this vribant place with a local guide, who'll take you to see the hills of Cerro Concepcion and Cerro Alegre and the Lukas Museum. In the evening, you'll enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, cedited with the invention of chorrillana - a Chilean dish including french fries topped with beef, eggs and fried onion.

Day 5
Mendoza
In the morning you'll head back to Santiago for a flight to Mendoza. On a clear day, you may even be able to see Mount Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the Americas, standing at 6,962 metres above sea level. On arrival in Mendoza, get to know the city with a gentle stroll around its tree-lined streets, visiting the local cafes and restaurants for some Argentinean fare.

Day 6
Mendoza
This morning, you will head out on a winery tour. Mendoza is Argentina’s most significant grape-growing region, producing nearly 75% of the nation’s wine – the region’s signature wine is Malbec. On this tour, you will visit several wineries and cellar doors, tasting Malbac, Torrontes and other local varietals along the way. Lunch will be around 1pm, and you will return to the city by around 3:30pm; the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 7
Buenos Aires
After breakfast, you’ll fly to the vibrant city of Buenos Aires. The passionate locals are incredibly proud of their city, which is comprised of distinct neighbourhoods, each carrying their own style. Check-in to your hotel and then enjoy an orientation walk of the city, visiting the Casa Rosada (Pink House) Presidential Palace in the Plaza de Mayo, as well as the antique markets and art displays of San Telmo. The rest of the day is at leisure – perhaps head out for the evening to enjoy a famous Tango Show or delicious steak, two of Argentina’s specialties.

Day 8
Buenos Aires
Today you will head north of Buenos Aires to explore the enticing city of Tigre, and its delta region. The day includes a bicycle tour around Puerto Maldero and the Buenos Aires Ecological Reserve, a train journey to Tigre for a walking tour through the local fruit market and a trip to the Tigre Art Museum, plus a private boat through the third-largest delta in the world. After lunch, you'll have some time to swim and relax before travelling back to Buenos Aires.

Day 9
Buenos Aires
The day is free for you to explore the city. After a quick meeting with your group, you'll enjoy a delicious Asado feast with barbecued meals, provoleta cheese and local wine.

Day 10
Buenos Aires
It’s your last day in Buenos Aires today, and it will be spend on a wonderful full-day tour with a local guide. Wander the cobbled streets of San Telmo and browse its antique markets, continuing to Plaza de Mayo to see the Presidential Palace. Walk among the tombs of the Recoleta Cemetery, the final resting place of Eva Peron, and then take a private transfer to the colourful La Boca neighbourhood and its well-known ‘Caminito’ District. Here, you’ll visit an artist’s gallery and enjoy lunch before your day tour comes to an end. In the evening, you could enjoy a tango show, football match or a steak and glass or Malbec in one of the city’s trendy restaurants.

Day 11
Iguazu Falls (Brazilian Side)
Today you’ll fly to Puerto Iguazu, set in the northeast corner of Argentina. The mighty Iguazu Falls straddles the borders of Argentina and Brazil, spanning over 2km in length and consisting of 275 waterfalls in total, some of which reach spectacular heights of 80 metres. Soak up the awe-inspiring panoramas of the falls today from the Brazilian side, with the chance to take an optional helicopter flight above the falls for an unforgettable view. Your hotel for the night is in a hotel in Foz do Iguazu, Brazil.

Day 12
Iguazu Falls (Argentinean Side)
A visit to the Argentinean side of Iguazu today allows for you to get up-close to the falls via a series of connecting boardwalks. For a more exhilarating experience, you could take an optional Zodiac boat ride to the base of the falls. Afterwards, you’ll visit a Guarani Community to meet some of the region’s few remaining indigenous people. Return to your hotel on the Brazilian side of the falls in the evening.

Rio de Janeiro
Today, you’ll take an early-morning flight from Foz du Iguacu to Rio de Janeiro. The rest of the day is yours to do what you like; for relaxation and people-watching, head to the stunning Copacabana or Ipanema Beaches. If the time of year is right, you could check out a Carnaval Rehearsal or Football Game, and as the evening approaches, we highly recommend taking a cable car up to Sugarloaf Mountain to experience the spectacular sunset views across the city.

Day 14
Rio de Janeiro
This morning after breakfast, you’ll embark on a full-day guided tour of Rio. Starting at Corcovado Mountain, you’ll experience magnificent, sweeping views across Rio from the base of Christ the Redeemer, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Then, head to the artistic neighbourhood of Santa Teresa so see the eclectic architecture, restaurants and galleries. Continue by the famous Selaron Steps to see artist Jorge Selaron’s gift to the Brazilian people, before finishing in Downtown Rio.
