Important Notice

A mandatory Tourist Usage Fee of MXN284.00 (approximately USD20.00) per person, must be paid by all travellers visiting the state of Quintana Roo (which primarily covers the beach resorts from Holbox and Cancun in the north, all the Riviera Maya region through Playa Del Carmen and Tulum, and down to Chetumal in the south). Payment can be made either prior to travel, during your stay, or at the airport on your return.

An Environmental Tax is also payable:

  • Cancun area hotels- $85 Mexican Pesos, approx USD$5 per room per night.

  • Grand Deluxe Resort View – Featuring a private balcony and panoramic view of the resort these rooms offer their own double whirlpool tubs and are designed to accommodate a maximum of four guests. Chic and contemporary in design with marbled flooring and dark wood doors and trim these rooms are the ideal place to relax and unwind after a day’s resort activity.
  • Grand Deluxe Garden View – With views out across the resort’s lush tropical gardens these contemporary rooms boasts a stepped double whirlpool tubs and private balcony. Accommodating a maximum of four guests these rooms are a haven after a hard days resort activity
  • Grand Family Suite – This setup comprises a king bed adult room and 2 double bed children’s room to accommodate up to six guests. Kids are fully catered for with Xbox 360, sweets and treats as well as a mini bar stocked with milkshakes, juices and sodas. Relax in the double whirlpool tubs or take in a movie on the state of the art entertainment centres. 
  • Grand Swim Up Suite – Take to the water straight from your room in this luxurious swim-up suite providing the perfect way to relax after a day’s resort activity. Once you’re out of the pool, take to the double whirlpool tub or just enjoy the array of in-room amenities. The Grand swim-up suites can accommodate a maximum of 4 guests.
  • Grand Presidential Suite – With rich wooden accenting and marbled flooring the opulent Grand Presidential Suite offer the ultimate in extravagance and elegance. With both king and twin bedded rooms, separated by a comfortable living area the suite layout is perfect for accommodating up to six guests. A spacious, full length terrace features loungers, full patio set and offers stunning views of the Caribbean Sea.

This is Middle Eastern dining at its best and an experience not to be missed. Open 7am-11am, 12.30pm-4pm and 6pm-11pm.
  • Le Chateau – French fine dining at its best in the opulent yet contemporary surrounding at Le Chateau. The specially curated menu offers a tantalising array of complementing dishes, cooked to perfection and captivatingly presented. Open 6pm-11pm. Adults only. Trousers, collared shirts and shoes required.
  • The Grand Buffet - Enjoy a taste of the world with this varied buffet restaurant. Whether you decide to fill your plate with delicious pastas, sandwiches, Italian mains or sticky sweet desserts, the choose is up to you. Open 6.30am-11.30am, 12.30pm-4pm and 6pm-11pm.
  • The Grill - Discover a taste of South America with this fabulous restaurant. This is a true carnivore's dream thanks to the eclectic menu of grilled specialities, including rolled stuffed pork, parmesan beef carpaccio and grilled chistorra sausage. You could also choose from decadent pasta dishes, succulent steak cuts and lovely main courses, too. Open 6pm-11pm. Snack a la carte service available 11am-5pm.
  • Cielito Lindo – For an original take on Mexican fine dining this contemporary restaurant offers an array of inventive yet authentic native dishes. The sophisticated surroundings are accented with local decor and make for a wonderful local experience. Kick off your Mexican dining experience with one of Cielito Lindo’s signature Margaritas. Open 6pm-11pm.
  • Caribeño – Caribeño gives the nod to the strong tropical influences of the resort’s proximity to the Caribbean. Freshly caught fish and seafood dominate, with distinctive coconut, tamarind, flavours skilfully infused into the wonderfully creative dishes. Day round dining options include buffet, and a la carte selections. Open 7am-11.30am, 12.30pm-2.30pm and 6pm-11pm.
  • La Cantina – For a more relaxed Mexican dining experience head to La Cantina and authentic street food style restaurant operated by its sister establishment, Cielito Lindo. A tantalising selection of sharing and main dishes if offered, including delights such as delicious handmade tortillas or slow-cooked mutton Barbacoa. Open 6pm-11pm.
  • Jade – Savour the delights of Japanese cuisine set in sleek surroundings where you’ll find a fusion of traditional and contemporary dishes. Wonder at the array of succulent tempura, ebi furai and maki rolls as you begin your dining experience. Delight as you watch miniature wagyu steak sizzle before your eyes on personalised ishiyaki volcanic slabs. For Japanese cuisine at its finest, look no further than Jade. Open 5..30pm-11pm with the robata grill available 6pm-11pm.
  • Tavola  – Welcome to Italy! Delight in the distinctive aromas of Italian cuisine as you relax in informal surroundings set against the bustle of the ‘sidewalk’. Tuck into the warmed bread rolls as you await your choice of traditional Italian pizza, pasta or salad selection. This laid-back eatery also offers comforting treats such as rich panna cotta or creamy cappuccino. Open 12pm-5pm and 6pm-11pm.
  • JC Steakhouse* – This authentic American style steakhouse offers succulent top quality Angus Beef cuts in a delightfully laid back setting. A full range of flavour-filled steak cuts is yours to savour accompanied by a hearty portion of fries and topped with a delicious green peppercorn sauce. Round off your steakhouse experience with a slice of indulgent New York Cheesecake. Open 5.30pm-11pm.
  • Cusco – Set against a backdrop of colourful textiles and the soft sounds of panpipes this delightful eatery offers an array of traditionally inspired Peruvian cuisine. For dessert why not treat yourself to a creamy Suspiro Limeño. Open 7am-11.30am, 12.30pm-4.30pm and 6pm-11pm.
  • Casa Mia - Enjoy delicious Mexican cuisine alongside a vibrant ambience at this contemporary eatery. Sit back with a classic Mexican cocktail including margaritas and tequila mules, before tucking into innovative dishes such as suckling pig with chorizo and avocado, or creamy shrimp esquite. Open 6pm-11pm.
  • Unique Night Club – Enjoy the vibrant ambience of this upscale nightclub as they indulge the world-class signature cocktails and revel in the energetic beats served up by the live DJ’s. Party into the small hours as you take in the electric atmosphere and social scene. Open 10pm-3am Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Adults only.

Access to FroFlow Triple is complimentary from 9.00am -5.00pm daily.  It can be reserved for private use from 8.00-9.00am and 5.00-6.00pm. The maximum capacity is 8 people.  The cost is $690 per hour ($345 for 30 mins), charged to your room.  Resort Credit cannot be used for this faciity.

Please note that if your stay at Moon Palace The Grand includes a resort credit, there is a 33% cap on the total resort credt that can be utilised on spa services , and a 16% service fee applies for any services paid with Resort Credit.  Resort credit terms are subject to change and will be confimed at check in.

 

  • The Circus at Moon Palace - a magical restaurant designed by kids for kids.  Dinner is served a la carte (see attached menú) and reservations are on a first come, first served basis.  Dress code: Smart Casual
  • The Dreamery - a new concept to ensure that the youngest guests have the best holiday ever - full of surprises, games, activities and amenities designed especially for them.  From puppet and magic shows to jenga tournaments, bracelet workshop and bounce zones, there is a fun activity suitable for every child - genrally suiting aged 4-12 years.
