10. Visit the Grand Palace, Bangkok
The official residence of the Kings of Siam since the late 18th century, the famous Grand Palace is an architectural wonder that will take your breath away. Said to be even more decadent than Louis XIV’s Versaille, this neo-classical spectacle houses the legendary Emerald Buddha.

9. Elephant sanctuary, Chiang Mai and Bangkok
