A tropical paradise
The Verandah Resort & Spa is the perfect destination for your dream Caribbean wedding. A tropical paradise, surrounded by the warm turquoise waters of the Caribbean, provides the perfect backdrop for a luxury wedding with an all-inclusive package to celebrate your special day.
There’s nowhere more glamorous than The Verandah Resort and Spa, Antigua. Its panoramic terraces, scented gardens and breathtaking beaches are all suitably romantic venues for an unforgettable wedding ceremony handled by first-rate professional wedding planners. Choose from the beautiful surroundings for the ceremony including Rasta Beach, the most popular location for couples to get married at. What could be better than getting married while sinking your toes into the sand right on the beach. This beach is located on the East Side of the island and has a wonderful view of the Atlantic Ocean. Rasta Beach Gazebo is the second most popular location on the property. This is perfect for couples that wished to have a beach wedding, but not get sand in their toes. With a walkway, this is perfect for brides that want to wear heels and still hear the water splashing on the beach with a beautiful background view of the Atlantic Ocean. Hill Top Gazebo is perfect for couples and groups of 20 people or less. The turquoise water and the breath-taking backdrop make it the perfect location for sunset photos. Hide-Away Gazebo is ideal for couples that require a private ceremony away from the busy traffic of other guests at the resort. Adjacent, is a small reception area if needed for cocktail hour.

The Wedding Ceremony
In most destinations, your wedding ceremony will be conducted Monday to Friday (excluding local holidays). In some destinations, local festivals and holidays will determine available wedding dates. Generally, your wedding will take place in the grounds of the hotel unless otherwise specified. Many hotels offer wedding gazebos for extra privacy. Some hotels may offer more than one wedding per day with the first wedding taking place at around 10am with the last wedding at 4pm. The majority of our weddings are conducted by a marriage officer whose title varies depending on the resort. Where it is possible to be married by a Minister, the ceremony will be non denominational unless otherwise stated and will be a Civil wedding.
