Overview

Romance ensues at Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort. A stunning and contemporary resort set on Labrelotte Bay in St Lucia, Windjammer prides itself on its spectacular wedding days.

The full focus will be on you and your partner. With just one wedding a day, the fantastic wedding team will be there for you every step of the way, from setting up your chosen flowers, to ensuring every moment of the ceremony runs smoothly.

There are three locations to choose from, and we love them all. Bohemian brides will love walking barefoot up the aisle on the golden sand beach, decorated with petals and conch shells. For the ultimate ocean backdrop, choose the gazebo setting – the views of the horizon are glorious, and the waves lapping against the rock wall is the perfect natural background music. The hilltop garden is just as gorgeous, and ideal for the more secluded wedding ceremony as its enveloped by tropical flora. Windjammer also offers intimate vow renewals in these locations.

If you decide to elope just you two, you’ll be treated to amazing service and a romantic dinner. However, if you want to bring your family and friends, you’ll have the option of an outdoor or indoor reception for an additional price. The outdoor reception is under an idyllically decorated gazebo either on the hotel’s Water Ski dock (for 35 people) or right on the beach (for 80 people). Meanwhile, the indoor receptions are enjoyed in the Royal Palm Room, accommodating up to 60 guests.

The Wedding Ceremony

In most destinations, your wedding ceremony will be conducted Monday to Friday (excluding local holidays).  In some destinations, local festivals and holidays will determine available wedding dates.  Generally, your wedding will take place in the grounds of the hotel unless otherwise specified.  Many hotels offer wedding gazebos for extra privacy.  Some hotels may offer more than one wedding per day with the first wedding taking place at around 10am with the last wedding at 4pm.  The majority of our weddings are conducted by a marriage officer whose title varies depending on the resort.  Where it is possible to be married by a Minister, the ceremony will be non denominational unless otherwise stated and will be a Civil wedding.

Tropical Sky Weddings and the information given above only apply to couples:

•        Born in the UK

•        Have a valid UK passport (with some months validity on return home)

If couples do not fulfil these requirements they must advise us.  Couples should be referred to the embassy of the country of origin and the country where they wish to marry as they may require extra documentation to satisfy their own embassy requirements – Tropical Sky cannot advise on this and couples must investigate this on their own.

As Tropical Sky weddings have no jurisdiction over hotels/resorts/venues/legal requirements and their charges, we cannot be responsible for any increases or changes to these wedding arrangements.  We will, however, endeavour to advise you of changes as soon as we are made aware of them.
