Stellenbosch & Kruger Twin Centre

Day 1 - 4

On arrival into Cape Town your driver will collect you and you will be on your way to beautiful Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa.  Rolling Vineyards and tree lined streets together with the splendid Dutch architecture are the views you will enjoy during your stay here.  
You will spend the next 3 nights at the aha De Zalze Lodge on the stunning De Zalze Wine Estate.
Here you can just relax by the lovely swimming pool, take a ride around the estate on a mountain bike, have a game of golf on the course just adjacent to the lodge or partake in one of the many wine tasting sessions on offer.
Dining at the lodge is superb with a choice of the informal bistro-style eatery where you can enjoy locally sourced food or the Terroir Restaurant, an award-winning, fine dining establishment. Here careful attention is paid to matching the scrumptious food with the world-class Kleine Zalze wines.
 

Day 4 – 8

After your breakfast this morning you will say goodbye to the Winelands and head off for the next part of your African Adventure.  Your driver will collect you and drive you back to Cape Town where you will take a short flight to Hoedspruit airport, the gateway to Kruger National Park.  You will be collected by your driver/guide who will take you to the aha Makalali Private Game Lodge, your home for the next 4 nights.
Each Thatched Suite has a raised timber viewing deck with spectacular views over the Makhutswi River. Sit here and take in your serene surroundings whilst catching sight of colourful bird life and graceful game. Other features of your room include a fireplace, outside shower, sitting area and plunge pool.
Over the next few days you will have time to enjoy game drives both morning and afternoon. The high density of wild animals here means you may enjoy sightings of the Big 5: lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffalos as well as plentiful game and diverse bird species.

Day 8

This morning you will have time for one last game drive before saying goodbye to the lodge and its’ beautiful surroundings.  You will be transferred to Hoedspruit airport for your flight via Johannesburg to the UK or you can choose to extend your African Adventure to take in the stunning Victoria Falls, staying at the aha David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa.
