Overview

Staying in one of Jade Mountain’s sanctuaries is truly mesmerising. If the expansive space where bedroom, living room and infinity pool flows into one doesn’t take your breath away, we’re certain the incredible view will. Missing its fourth wall, your sanctuary opens out to the most encapsulating view of the Pitons, standing proudly right in front of you.

This sensational retreat has been celebrated around the world for its unique and exceptional architecture. Scenic bridges lead towards each secluded sanctuary, whilst jaw-dropping stone-faced columns soar high into the sky and iridescent glass tiles exclusively designed for the resort glisten in the sunlight. 24 of the 29 sanctuaries have their own private infinity pool, but all offer a spacious haven with views you’ll simply never forget.

Nestled above the stunning beachfront resort Anse Chastanet, guests of Jade Mountain can venture down onto the sister resort’s two beautiful sandy beaches, soaking up the sun on a lounger or indulging in a bit of snorkelling. You’ll have access to the restaurants and bars there too, but one of our favourite pastimes is drinking cocktails at Celestial Terrace, a gorgeous bar sitting high up on the hillside. Jade Mountain Club is divine too, offering wonderful views alongside delicious Caribbean style cuisine.

Admired for its incredible open-plan sanctuaries that blend beautifully into the island’s natural beauty, a stay at this St Lucian paradise is one that will stick with you forever.

Each of the 24 infinity pool sanctuaries at Jade Mountain is a carefully designed, individual work of art and architecture. All of the sanctuaries celebrate an unparalleled view of the Pitons and the Caribbean Sea. In all of the sanctuaries, the 4th wall is open to the views while at the same time allowing for complete privacy. Expect grand sweeping spaces where bedroom, living area and the extravagant private infinity pool glide into one another to form extraordinary platforms floating out into nature. All sanctuaries feature 15ft high ceilings and have the 4th wall open to the views. All other aspects, layout and size vary from sanctuary to sanctuary. In addition to locally made fine tropical wood furniture an eclectic collection of furniture has been placed in the sanctuaries giving each one of them their own individualistic ambiance.

The living areas of the rooms are finished with more than 20 different species of tropical hardwood flooring and trims harvested in an environmentally correct way. Jade Mountain's builders actually visited the Rain Forest of Guyana and personally chose which trees to be used. A multitude of hardwoods has been used including Purpleheart, Greenheart, Locust, Kabukali, Snakewood, Bloodwood, Etikburabali, Futukbali, Taurino, Mora and Cabbage Wood.     Bathrooms feature chromatherapy whirlpool tubs designed to be enjoyed by one or two persons -tubs are mounted on a pedestal allowing best possible panoramic views whilst bathing.
