Begin your journey with a four-night stay at Governor's Camp in the Masai Mara Reserve - well-known for its luxurious take on the safari experience. You'll have the opportunity to see the famous Big Five and experience Africa's fantastic scenery before taking a flight from Nairobi to Kigali in Rwanda. Here you'll enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime stay at the Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge where you'll make your way through dense forests in search of the magnificent silverback gorillas. Your stay here will last for three nights, including 2 full days gorilla trekking and the chance to take in the awe-inspiring scenery, before your return flight home. (GW)
On arrival into Nairobi International airport you will be met and transferred to Wilson ariport for your short flight to the Masai Mara. On arrival at the airstrip you will be transferred to Governors' Camp for your 4-night stay.
Spend the next few days relaxing and taking part in game drives in search of the Big Five - lions, elephants, leopard, rhinos and Cape buffalo. The camp itself is often referred to as 'prime wildlife real estate' and provides a great base for authentic yet luxurious safari-style accommodation.
During your stay you'll have the opportunity to enjoy guided walks through the landscape, cultural visits and sundowners, as well as the memorable game drives where you'll seek out sightings of the Big Five,
Following your early morning game drive and breakfast, you will take a short flight back to Nairobi Wilson. You will then fly from Nairobi International airport to Kigali in Rwanda for the next portion of your trip. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge.
You will embark on a three-night stay at the elegant Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge - a sensational lodge situated at the foot of the Virungas volcanoes in Rwanda. Located close to the Parc National des Volcans, this is the best place to be for treks to see the amazing gorillas which live here.
During your stay, you will enjoy gorilla trekking through the forests, have chance to experience a visit to a cultural village, visit the nearby lakes or go on an escorted bird watching tour. This is a really unique and unforgettable experience, surrounded by tropical flora and birdlife in one of the most beautiful parts of Africa.
Enjoy a bit of last-minute chill-out time before transferring mid-afternoon back to Kigali airport for your onward flight.
Your stay in Rwanda includes return road transfers from Kigali, 3-nights accommodation on a Fully Inclusive Basis, 2 full days Gorilla Trekking and all of the relevant Gorilla Permits and Community Fees applicable.
British passport holders do not require a visa for Rwanda. All other nationalities must obtain a visa for Rwanda before travel as Visa’s are not available on arrival.
