Fairmont Mayakoba resort is 40 miles south of Cancun in the Riviera Maya region of Mexico. The scenery surrounding this area is breath-taking, filled with coral reefs, white sand beaches and authentic Mexican culture; nearby, the bustling resort of Playa del Carmen provides plenty of entertainment, nightlife and restaurants.

  • Fairmont Room – Elegant room with one king or two queen beds located in the Bamboo building with jungle views. Connecting rooms available.
  • Fairmont View – Boasting the best views from the Bamboo building, with one king or two queen beds and pool or lagoon views.
  • Deluxe Casita Room – Scattered through the resort's tropical forest these rooms offer a tropical forest view and have one king or two queen beds. Connecting rooms available.
  • Signature Casita Room – Set within the tropical forest, these rooms look out onto views of the canals with light interiors, private entrance and beautiful surroundings. With one king or two queen beds and Water Canal views. Connecting rooms available.
  • Beach Area Casita – Moments from the beach, these rooms are luxurious and spacious with oversized windows, one king or two queen beds, private balcony and spectacular mangrove views.  Please note these rooms do not have an ocean view.
  • Oceanfront Casita – Beachfront property with a private stairway to the beach, exclusive butler service, two queen beds, spa-style bathroom and a spacious terrace providing ocean vistas.
  • Signature Casita Suite - With high ceilings and wrap around balcony this suite offers a spacious and elegant master bedroom with on king or two queen beds, a separate living room with sofa bed and second bathroom with shower and lagoon or water canal views
  • Beach Area Casita Suite - For the perfect pampered experience in the private area of the resort, you'll be just steps from the beach and enjoy exclusive butler service.  The suite layout is similar to the Signature Casita Suite but offers one king bed in the master bedroom and the fabulous addition of an exclusive infinity pool on the roof terrace with panoramic views of the resort, mangrove, sea and water canals.
  • Beach Front Casita Suite - Offering stunning ocean views and butler service these suites offer high ceilings, an elegant master bedroom with one king bed, a separate living and dining area, and an infinity pool on a private terrace offering stunning ocean views.
  • Beach Front Premium Suite - With a similar layout to the Beach Front Casita Suite, these Premium Suites also offer butler service.  For additional space these suites can be transformed into a two-bedroom suite by connecting to an Oceanfront Casita

  • HIX Bar, Lounge and Terrace - offering small plates and appetisers alongside innovative cocktails.  Open daily 11.30am-11pm. 
  • Tauro Steakhouse - A unique American Steakhouse combining Mexican ingreduents with classic steakhouse recipes and techniques.  Open for breakfast 7am-11am and Dinner 6pm-11pm. Reservations required.
  • Gaia at Maykana - Fairmont Mayakoba's signature restaurant, a seafood delight!
  • Brisas at Maykana – Beachfront venue serving a fresh a la carte breakfast and a lunch menu including mezze, medietteranean shareable bites and tropical Caribbean inspired cocktails; open 8am-11am, 11.30am-5pm and 6pm-11pm (closed for dinner on Sundays)
  • Fuego at Maykana - a rustic grill option
  • Ki' Beach Bar and Korean Barbecue - A vibrant beach bar by day and intimate Korean Grill "feet in the sand" experience by night. Cocktails served 11am-5pm.  Dinner reservations required.
  • Bassano Trattoria Italian Restaurant - Regional Italian dishes with family-style dining - Open Daily 6pm-10.30pm
  • La Playita - enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner on the beach - open for lunch 11am-5.30pm and dinner 6pm-10.30pm
  • El Puerto – Casual restaurant serving up seafood dishes with a Caribbean twist, grilled steaks and pastas; open Tues-Sun 6pm-11pm. (Reservations required)
  • Café Maya – Serving up a selection of delicious pastries, ice creams, coffee and refreshing cold beverages, as well as culinary souvenirs; open 7am-9pm daily
  • Las Olas & Aqua Swim-Up Pool Bars – Inspired by the surrounding water canals, Las Olas offers cocktails and soft drinks; the Aqua Bar is an adult-only cocktail bar with live music open 10am-6pm daily
  • Cielo at Maykana - adults only rooftop bar
  • El Lobby Lounge – Relaxed lounge with authentic Mexican botanas (tapas) and hot drinks, as well as live music in the evening; open 5am-7am (free tea and coffee service) and 11am-1am (premium bar and martinis).
  • Sweet Spot - located at El Pueblito, a replica of an authentic Mexican town square, a whole host of sweets, chocolate and tastay snacks are available.  Open Tue-Sat 9am-5pm.

The Fairmont Mayakoba kids club provides a great space for younger guests to play and learn; with a dedicated area for teens as well as spacious accommodation and child-friendly meals, the resort is ideally suited to families.

  • Discovery Club & Adventure Camp – For kids aged 4-11yrs, this exciting programme offers cultural lessons, wildlife excursions and arts and crafts activities; open 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm - Guests receive 1 session of 3 hours per day on a complimentary basis
  • Teens Room – Available for ages 10-17yrs with video games, 42” TVs and arcade games; open 9.30am-7.30pm
